Session Tunes of the Greenwich Traditional Musicians Co-operative

These tunes have largely been transcribed from musicians who have played at the session at the Cricketers in Greenwich. As traditional tunes we are not aware of any copyrights which may have been infringed, except where we not that the author has given permission.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you believe your copyright has been abused.

These tunes have all been played at the session in Greenwich. Overall there are several hundred tunes which have been played over the last few years, but this selection should cover the most common ones. We hope that providing these tunes will encourage visitors, whether fairly new to traditional music or more experienced to attend. Please do not wait to know all the tunes - that is not possible - and in any case we don't promise to play them the same way twice.

We have also begun to include some compositions by members.

Enjoy - it's what the music is there for. We also have some live recordings of tunes which people have requested and a CD which you can buy on our products page.

Live Recordings

There have been a number of requests for copies of CDs which we have of live recordings from the session. We produced these for ourselves as mementoes, but others have asked for them as an aid to learning tunes. Below are links to some of the tunes in .wma format, which hopefully people can play. They are not intended as samples or demo tapes - they are simple pub recordings. We have these available on a CD for those with very slow connections, or who don't like .wma for £6 inc p&p on our products page. Let us know if you are interested in traditional music. Mind you, listening to a recording should be no substitute for coming, getting a drink and listening or even taking part ...
