The Lord Hood is a well established locals pub 200 yards from Greenwich Market and the Cutty Sark. Most evenings there is live music, particularly Jazz, and since March 05 there has been traditional English music on Tuesdays from 9pm. At weekends, major football matches are televised, so for a quiet lunchtime pint drop in during the week.

redevelopment.
The Lord Hood is a vibrant local pub providing a valuable (and disappearing local
service).
The Lord Hood has now been saved, but new plans may still affect the pub and require
demolition of local buildings.

"Meantime" hosts a modern jazz jam session. Students from Trinity Music College jazz course. Sitters-in welcome. Be stunned by teenage talent on their instruments.
Thursday 12-3pm
Traditional jazz with the "Brunch Bunch" - a seven piece jazz band, also welcoming sitters in. Best value food in Greenwich (£1 bacon sandwich, £2.50 chicken dinner) and great atmosphere.
